Marcela Murra Guerrero, student of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Laguna is one of those young people, because she is the winner of the Scholarship for Entrepreneurial Talent for your project Art x Marce Murrabeing part of the 35 high school students who were chosen to study at the university with this distinction.
The Scholarship for Entrepreneurial Talent provides a 70 percent support so that young leaders in this area can study a professional career and start their businessinforms a publication made by CONECTA of the Tec de Monterrey, Laguna campus.
With her project, Marcela seeks share their knowledge in order to relate and merge creative ideas with various areas, starting this story at the beginning of the pandemic. “I created this project to teach and show the world that art is a way to release emotions, it is a therapy.”
As part of the scholarship, you will also have a mentor from the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute (IEEGL) Laguna campus, who will advise you on your projects. She and the entrepreneurs participated in a bootcamp which was held for the first time in the Metaversothe virtual campus of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
They worked for three days to continue with the process of creating your project, where through conferences, networking sessions and mentoring managed to reinforce knowledge and enhance their entrepreneurial profile. The event also had the participation of entrepreneurs from different countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, among others.
Murra Guerrero assured that his project was able to continue thanks to the fact that people wanted to learn about his art and that is when the initiative to offer workshops was born. “I started sharing my knowledge, giving workshops to children and older adults, I even teach techniques on Instagram, my strength is Zentangle Art; which are mandalas, I love it”, she detailed.
The project allowed him to expand and sell his products in decoration stores and through the modelo B2C (business to consumer)where she customizes them based on functional art needs.
He shared that he is already planning his next workshop. His goal is continue developing, innovating and creating new ideas, as well as being open to areas of opportunity that you can work on with your clients.
